Nana von Nixie is a beautiful 3 year old Golden Retriever mix.  House-trained, crate-trained and a people-lover (including young children), her personality blossoms as she interacts with you.  If you are seated, she lies next to your feet and gently puts her paws on them.  She is hoping you will massage her ears or give her a belly rub.  Nana walks well on leash, opting to ignore passing dogs versus react to them (she is very selective in the dogs she likes).  She accompanies her foster mom on one-mile walks twice a day, sniffing the flowers along the way.  This Golden Miss knows her basic commands and is a great passenger in the car, her ears lifting in the wind through the slightly-cracked window.  If you have been yearning for an easygoing, undemanding, intelligent and loving addition to your family, Nana’s the girl for you.
